Joanna Kidd
Joanna Kidd is a printmaker and sculptor. After graduating in Philosophy and Cognitive Science from Dartmouth College, she moved to Florence, Italy where she lived for eight years. She received a BFA and an MFA from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze. She has been an artist in residence at Graphic Arts Workshop, Kala Art Institute, Everglades National Park, Arts Benicia and Gruenwald Press. Her work is included in the Achenbach Collection of the fine arts museums of San Francisco and the California Society of Printmakers archives at the UC Berkeley Bancroft Library. She has taught a wide variety of Studio Art, Art History and Philosophy classes at several northern California colleges. She is currently teaching Printmaking at California State University, Sacramento and Drawing and Sculpture at Folsom Lake College.
